| RONA KREEKEL Rona Kreekel (1966) has always been fascinated by history. Twenty years ago she became active in re-enactment of the early Middle Ages and in 2009-2010 she created a temporary exhibition about this period in the Streekmuseum in Tiel. Her passion for telling stories began with a publication of a short AD&D adventure in the American magazine Dungeon and with writing articles in the English language for a quarterly magazine for early medieval re-enactors. In the meantime, as a passtime, she wrote historical novels, during which the research provided just as much pleasure as did the writing itself. Her first novel, Rochette uit Duinkerken, has recently been published. Rona will be present at the location Vampire Castle. |

TOMMY KRAPPWEIS Tommy Krappweis was born in Munich on May 9th 1972. Among other things he acted as a stuntman, slapstick-comedian and busker and worked in front of the camera for the german Comedy-Show “RTL Samstag Nacht”. He founded bumm film GmbH, a production company for scripts, direction and postproduction in 1999, to work as a director and scriptwriter for the main part. In company with Norman Cöster he invented the cult character "Bernd das Brot", mascot for KiKa (children's TV network) which was awarded the "Goldener Spatz" and the "Adolf Grimme Preis" in 2004. At Elf Fantasy Fair Tommy Krappweis will present his first novel "Mara und der Feuerbringer" - characterized by the press as an "extraordinary fantasy-trilogy between Harry Potter, Da Vinci Code and nordic mythology" peppered with the very special humor of the author. At his lectures Tommy Krappweis presents profound knowledge of the nordic-germanic mythology supported with amazing facts about its remains in today’s world in an amusing way.

|
The whole trilogy (part III will be published in October 2011) was
developed in collaboration with Rudolf Simek, Professor at the
university of Bonn. So the facts and coherences of nordic-german
mythology in roman and appendix are consistent with the current state of
scientific knowledge.
